The Purple Sapphire (Heliophorus epicles) is a small butterfly found in Rejang Land Sumatra that belongs to the Lycaenids or Blues family.im not sure for the third name,because the for sumatra have 2 species Heliophorus epicles sumatrensis and Heliophorus ila ila
For Heliophorus epicles ,There appears to be some shuffling of taxa between H. epicles and H. ila. Not really sure about the real status of the following, shown as presented in [BOR], except for those that are mentioned in [MRS]. (Is epicles = ila ?)
