Flower : Kibut Flower / Elephant Foot Yam - Amorphophallus Campanulatus From Rejang Land Sumatra

Amorphophallus (from Ancient Greek amorphos, "without form, misshapen" + phallos, "penis", referring to the shape of the prominent spadix) is a large genus of some 170 tropical and subtropical tuberous herbaceous plants from the Arum family (Araceae). A few species are edible as "famine foods" after careful preparation to remove irritating chemicals.and this is a amorphophallus campanulatus known as elephant foot yam.
this elephant foot yam or amorphophallus campanulatus i found at Talang Rimbo Lama Village Rejang Lebong Sumatra,the local people said this isa Kibut Flower.

this flower not to big the diameter is approx 40 cm and high is approx 30-35 cm
