Info : The sixth road show of health and family planning services in Rejang Lebong Regency

Rejang Lebong Regency return to social service activities conducted by the health department , the PKK team and other related department . At this moment this activity is focusing on the 3 districts ( Sindang Kelingi,Binduriang and Padang Ulak Tanding ) with 21 villages in Rejang Lebong Regency.

This activity is being followed by 300 health workers from 21 health centers in Rejang lebong also from District Health Office and district PKK team. They consist of doctors, nurses, midwives and other health personnel, who help each other to help provide free health services to the people who need them.

like the previous activities, this activity aims to keep health services quickly and cheaply to people who need health services, including in basic health services, family planning services and counseling, health education to the community.
 

These activities are expected to suppress maternal mortality and child as well as accelerate the formation of Desa Siaga in Rejang Lebong.

Fauna : Black and white foot Millipede - Archispirostreptus.ssp From Rejang Land Sumatra

Millipedes, known as Kekea Sribew ( Thousand foot worm ) in Rejang Land,its size is around 25 cm. because this is big millipede i suppose this is one of Archispirostreptus genus, so if anyone has information about this species,please correct it.

Flower : Dove orchid - Bag-shaped Dendrobium / Dendrobium crumenatum from Rejang Land Sumatra

A member of the family Orchidaceae, Dendrobium crumenatum produces white, fragrant flowers with a yellow tinted throat. The plant produces a fragrant smell, but only for two days. From the side view, the orchid resemble a flying pigeon; that's how it's known commonly as the Pigeon Orchid. Other common names are Sparrow Orchid and Bag-shaped Dendrobium; "dove orchid" usually refers to the genus  Peristeria, but sometimes to D. crumenatum.

A tropical epiphytic plant, this orchid is most common in Curup Town and for now this orchid blooming,not difficult to find it because at roadside Sukowati Street we can find this orchid.

Frog : The Cricket Frog - Fejervarya limnocharis From Rejang Land Sumatra

The Cricket Frog (Fejervarya  limnocharis) is a species of frog  found widely distributed in South Asia. Molecular studies of the species complex suggest that there may be multiple species involved.

Color: Gray brown , sometimes suffused with bright carmine; a V-shaped dark mark between eyes, a yellow vertebral stripe mostly present; lips and limbs barred, a light line along calf, thighs laterally yellow, marbled with black, ventrum white, throat is mottled with brown in male.

Binominal Name :

• Fejervarya limnocharis (Gravenhorst, 1829)

• Rana limnocharis

Habitat :

Habitat A widely distributed species, extending from China and Southern Japan, throughout India, Ceylon, and Burma to the Malay Peninsula and Archipelago.
