Sumatran moon moth i called this moth because of this moth found in sumatra, and the other common name is The Malaysian moon moth, Actias maenas, is a purple and yellow Indomalayan Saturniid in the subfamily Saturniinae. im not sure about this species name because a number of taxa have been described either as subspecies of maenas or as distinct species. They are listed under localities,and this one we found in sumatra so i think this is may be Sonthonnaxia recta Bouvier or Sonthonnaxia saja van Eecke
